Need a Great Mother’s Day Gift? Check out Craftsy

As the owner of this blog, it’s my policy to only promote products or companies that I use and recommend. I have an affiliate relationship with Craftsy, which means if you click on their link on this site and make a purchase, it can result in a small commission, which helps to maintain and run this blog. All opinions about them are 100% my own. Thanks so much for supporting Craving Something Healthy!

I pride myself on bring super organized, and always working ahead. You know, I start my Christmas shopping in September, I plan out my blog’s editorial calendar a month in advance, try to write at least a week ahead of time, I have set days of the week for house cleaning, laundry, yada yada… So it’s always surprising when birthdays, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day rolls around and I’m scrambling to pull something together. I mean, it’s not like I didn’t have any notice… Sooo, if you’re at all like this, and you still haven’t gotten around to finding the perfect gift to honor the best mom in the world (or if you’re already planning ahead to Father’s Day), you MUST check out Craftsy.  I found this site not too long ago, and they’re a new favorite of mine because I love to learn about things that I love – like cooking, photography and crafting.   Craftsy Logo Craftsy has hundreds of classes in quilting, sewing, knitting, cake decorating, art, photography, cooking and many more categories, all taught by the world’s best instructors. I’ve taken similar classes through my local adult ed, but I love Craftsy, because you learn at your pace, with easy-to-follow HD video lessons you can access on your computer or mobile device anytime, anywhere, FOREVER! You can bookmark your favorite techniques to return to as often as you’d like with just a click, or ask your expert instructor questions and even download recipes, patterns and instructions from the class. No need to panic if you don’t get it the first time. They offer several FREE classes, and their paid classes are very reasonably priced – these are several hour long courses broken into sections, not 10 minute You-Tube videos. They also have a money back guarantee, if for some reason you aren’t satisfied. If you or mom (or anyone else you know) is at all interested in cooking (of course you are if you’re here!), I encourage you to try out their Complete Knife Skills, with Brendan McDermott (FREE mini-course!)  and then sign up for more.  I promise you’ll learn so much! I’m on to jam making next, and maybe sourdough bread after that! Hope to see you in class!
