Fun fact(s). March is National Nutrition Month. And today, March 12, 2014, is Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist day. I wonder how many other professionals get their own day? So today, especially, I want to give a shout out to all of my fabulous registered dietitian colleagues for the fabulous work they/we all do educating and inspiring individuals to eat healthier and enjoy real food more.
By the way, in case you wondered, registered dietitians (RDs) work hard for those credentials. We’re required to have many years of education, sit for a national exam, and then complete ongoing continuing education requirements to maintain our registration and license.
