1 1/2cupsripe honeydew melon chunksrefrigerated or frozen
1/2cupplain Greek yogurt
1cupbaby spinach leaves
1tablespoonflaxseed meal
1teaspoonhoneyor to taste
1scoopplain or vanilla protein powderoptional
Instructions
Cut the chilled melon into 1 1/2 inch chunks.
Combine the melon, Greek yogurt, spinach, flaxseed meal, vanilla, and honey in a blender. Blend for about 20 seconds or until smooth.
If using protein powder, add it after the ingredients are blended. Then, blend again to combine the protein powder.
Notes
The nutrition facts does not include the protein powder. If adding it, you'll increase the protein by about 20 grams.Reserve leftover melon cubes and freeze them for another smoothie.
