Pour the balsamic vinegar into a small saucepan. Bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer the vinegar for four to six minutes or until it thickens and reduces to about two tablespoons. The vinegar will thicken quite a bit as it cools, so don't overcook it.Set this aside.
Set naan bread on a baking sheet smooth side up, and place it under the broiler for about one minute or until it is lightly toasted.
Remove naan bread from oven. Flip it over and spread the wrinkly side of the bread with fig jam. Lay prosciutto over fig jam. Lay slices of pear over the prosciutto. Dot with blue cheese.
Return the pizza to the broiler and broil it for about one minute or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Watch it carefully so it doesn't burn.
Top the pizza with arugula and drizzle it with balsamic glaze. Cut it into slices and serve immediately.
Notes
Nutrition information is based on one-quarter of the pizza or an appetizer-sized portion. Look for jarred fig jam at the gourmet cheese counter in the grocery store.Use a good-quality wedge of blue cheese like Stilton or Gorgonzola Dolce, which will melt (and taste) better than blue cheese crumbles.
